MORINDA CITRIFOLIA

Noni, commonly known as 'Indian Mulberry', an evergreen shrub or tree, grown in parts of India, Tahiti, the Pacific Islands and other parts of Asia and Australia. The flowers form in  globose heads, about an inch long and bearing many small white flowers. The flower heads grow to become mature fruit, 3 to 4 inches in diameter. The surface of the fruit is divided into somewhat warty polygonal pitted cells. The active principles are extracted from the Noni fruits. The fruit initially is green, turns yellow and has an unpleasant odour and  taste.
